The second pic is a beautiful elephant applique for a wall hanging made by Alexandra, aged 11, this week. Nice work from a girl who generally doesnt like handstitching.

11.08.2019 First attempt at a lined jacket for Sylvia. Pockets are pinned in place and jacket is almost finished. After many many hours patiently working away at tracing out a paper pattern, knocking up a calico toile, altering the size, tracing a new pattern, matching fabric patterns and then figuring out how to make up a lined jacket.... Sylvia still loves it!!
